Edna Latey Osborne born Nov. 14, 1912 to William B. and Beatrice Smith Latey died December 1, 2000 from age related causes.

She married Bernal G. Osborne May 8, 1943 in Reno, Nevada. Worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company part and full time for 29 years and for Matson Navigation in San Francisco for a short time during World War II. Enjoyed bowling and golf--especially bowling, having met her husband in a bowling league. She will be remembered by many, many friends at Christmas when they hang their personalized Christmas stockings knit by her. She loved dogs and cared for six during her life. She served in the PTA and was a den mother for cub scouts.

Edna was a loving, wonderful daughter. She took care of her mother before and 13 years after her marriage. She was also a wonderful mother, being the sole parent for her children while her husband served in the Navy during part of World War II and during the Korean Conflict.

Survived by husband; son, Stephen (Kathy) Osborne; daughter, Margaret (Craig) Denton; grandchildren, Stacie Harris, Jason (Belinda) Osborne, Gavin (Natalie) Harris and Hilary (Jason) Tahbo.

Special thanks to Care Source-- Debi, Crissa, Regina, Ruth and Erika for their loving care during Edna's illness.
