Russell Blair Kinnersley, 92, our beloved dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, passed away Nov. 27, 2000, in Salt Lake of causes incident to age.
He was born May 18, 1908, in Salt Lake to Arthur B. and Maria Tuckfield Kinnersley. Married Mildred Pete-rson, Sept. 2, 1932 in the Salt Lake Temple. They spent 63 wonderful years together. Mildred passed away on October 17, 1995. Blair graduated from LDS High School and the University of Utah. He was a loyal UTE fan and loved to attend the Football and Basketball games with his family. He and Mildred owned and operated Blair's Ice Cream and Catering and Blair's College Inn. He later worked as a claims adjuster for the State Insurance Fund. Active member of the LDS Church, long time member of the Douglas Ward, serving on the High Council in the Salt Lake Central Stake, guide on Temple Square and a Temple Worker. Blair loved his family and was a wonderful father.
He is survived by his children, Russell B. Jr., (Joyce); Kay (Robert L.) Freudenberger; Rich-ard B. (Pamela); and Daniel B. (Shauna); 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A sister Rhean K. Sewell. Preceded in death by a son David B. and a grandson Ronald B.
Funeral Services will be Monday, December 4, 2000 at 12 noon at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple. Friends may call Sunday evening at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
