RALEIGH, North Carolina — More than 220 women in the Raleigh North Carolina Stake completed service projects Nov. 4 for those in need throughout their region and the world. During the "Errand of Angels" Women's Day, participants painted 59 flower pots and potted them with pansies for patients at the Hospice of Wake County; stuffed 159 dolls to be donated to the Wake Medical Center; cut, sewed and trimmed 215 felt finger puppets for the pediatric diabetes unit at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Children's Hospital; assembled "Bundle-A-Baby" packets for the Chatham Family Resource Center in Silver City, N.C.; and knitted or crocheted cotton bandages for worldwide distribution by the LDS Humanitarian Center.
