NEW YORK — From the day Glen Rice arrived in town, he talked about making sacrifices, as in sacrificing minutes and shots for the good of the team.

He certainly sounded forthcoming, but there have been times this season when it seems the only thing Rice has sacrificed is his promise to be an unselfish player.

Rice is slowly but surely becoming a problem for Jeff Van Gundy.

On Friday, the frustration on Rice's face was apparent as he sat at his locker following the Knicks' win against Chicago.
