UMKC 67, Southern Utah 47

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Freshmen Michael Watson and Javin Tindall scored career-highs of 20 points and 14 points Saturday to lead Missouri-Kansas City to a 67-47 victory over Southern Utah.

The Kangaroos (3-4, 1-0 Mid-Continent Conference) won their third straight and snapped a four-game winning streak by Southern Utah (4-2, 1-1).

UMKC led 34-19 at halftime. Watson scored the Kangaroos' first 10 points in the second half, and his basket with 15:49 left put them up 44-23.
