She attended LDS Business College. On January 13, 1941 she married Floyd A. Fowler in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1999. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Utah Transit Authority advertising company until her retirement and received a special recognition from the Utah Society for Autistic Children for outstanding community service in training and working with an autistic employee. Margaret served in many offices of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. At the time of her death, she was President of the Centennial Camp of St. George, Utah. She was proud of her heritage and was the family genealogist and helped gather extensive records for her family. She was a stalwart member of the LDS Church and served in many callings including Relief Society and Primary presidencies, and was Young Women President for over ten years. She and her husband served in the Utah Salt Lake City North Mission in 1983. Margaret enjoyed doing handwork and was skilled in quilting, crocheting, and quilting. She loved to sing and sang in a trio from Rose Park, which performed for many functions. Margaret was vivacious, out-going, had a contagious smile and twinkle in her eyes that no one will ever forget. Everyone loved Margaret, and she had friends in all age groups and walks of life.
