Brent Hall Hancock, loving husband, son, dad, grandpa and friend, age 54, passed away December 2, 2000 at home in Murray.

Born August 10, 1946 in Pocatello, Idaho, son of JB and Arlie Hancock. Brent graduated from Bountiful High School, Class of 1964. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. On September 8, 1970, he married Diana Heywood in Evanston, Wyoming. He was employed by Kennecott Copper Corp. for 17 years and was most recently employed by Spring Hill Apartments as a Maintenance Management Supervisor. He worked hard his entire life to support his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and golf.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diana; children, Michael Hancock, Steven Hancock, Deanna (Chuck) Jarvi, Kellie (Ryan) Williamson, and Amy (Brent) Johnson; proud grandpa of nine grandchildren; parents; brother, Don

(Kathie) Hancock; sisters, Carla (Doug) Layne, Kathy (Rodney) Greene, Sandy Warren.

Taken quickly, no time for goodbyes, he will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Wed., 1 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and again Wednesday, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
