Bobbie Eugene Crank died peacefully Dec. 3, 2000 after a long fight with Parkinson's.

Born April 30, 1931 in Cable County, West Virginia to Otto and Anna Crank. Married Shirley Marlene Machen on November 20, 1954, their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple August 2, 1966. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and then retired from the military after 20 years of service.

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Marlene; children, Michael A. Crank, Scotty D. (Linda) Crank, Kelly S. (Jim) Pyper, Terry A. (Quint) Whitby, Christie L. Crank, and Shawn P. (Missy) Crank; 18 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Ruth, Leo, Sue, Lowell, Lana, Jack, and Kathy. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward, Denny, and Jimmy; and son, Bobbie Eugene Crank Jr.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, December 7, 2000 at the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and 11-11:45 a.m. at the church.
