Elva May Barney age 91, passed away December 2, 2000 at the home of her son Terry Barney in Richland, Washington.

Elva married Orden N. Barney September 21, 1927, the wed-ding was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple August 22, 1974.

Elva was a faithful member of The LDS Church and held many teaching and leadership positions in her lifetime.

She was very talented and had her own ceramic shop for 45 years and taught many ladies to do ceramics.

Survivors include her four sons, Bob (Rose) of Cedar City, Utah, Lynn (LouAnn) of Sandy, Terry (Sue) Richland, Washington, Ed (Judy) of Granite, Utah and two brothers and two sisters. Elva had 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, one sister, and a grandson.

Elva will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah where friends may call Wednesday December 6th, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services.
