FILLMORE--<! > Harvey Donald "Don" Cummings, a gentle man, a kind and noble man, a man of honor and integri-ty, joined his sweet-heart on December 2, 2000, their 71st Wedding Anniversa-ry. He passed away in Richfield, Utah following a stoke.

Born October 16, 1905 in Kanosh, Utah to Mary Ida Bird and Harvey McDonald Cummings. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married Maxine Stevens Dec. 2, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Don was one of the finest cowboys that ever sat tall in the saddle. He had a sharp wit and delightful sense of humor right to the end. He charmed everyone he encountered and never met a stranger. He loved his horses, his farm, his cows, his church and his community, but most of all he loved and enjoyed his family.

He is survived by Elaine and Doyle Perkins, Janyce and Owen Olpin, Janyne and Jim Hubert, Steve and Elizabeth Cummings, Clay and Marlene Cummings, John and Geri Cummings; 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Carling and Maurine Paxton. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, great-grandson Kaden Clay Morris, brothers Vernon, Orrin, and Wayne and sister Clara Clothier.

Funeral services, will be held Friday Dec. 8, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Fillmore 1st/4th Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thurs. from 6-7:30 p.m. at Olpin Mortuary and Fri. from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
