Harry Julian Parker, age 94, died December 4, 2000 of complications following an

attack of inflammatory arthritis.

He was born July 30, 1906 in American Fork, Utah to Lafayette Parker and Mary Ann Julian Parker. He married Lucille Edwards on July 26, 1929 in American Fork. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Accounting. He worked for Mountain States Telephone, ZCMI, Nehi Beverage Company and ran an independent accounting service for a variety of business clients in Salt Lake City.

Survived by his wife, Lucille, of South

Jordan, Utah; daughter, Mariam (Roy) Allen, of Salt Lake city; grandchildren: Stephen P. and Gloria Allen (Kearns); Thomas P. and Ivy Allen (South Jordan); Kathleen Allen (Salt Lake City); Pamela and Richard Millet (West Valley City); 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Sarah Alice Parker, J. Bartle Parker, Clyde L. Parker, Reba Parker, S. Wayne Parker, Frank J. Parker, Mary Ann Parker Earl, Donald W. Parker and Earl J. Parker, and a son, Thomas, who died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday,

December 8, 2000 at 10 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, where friends and family may call on Thursday 6-8 p.m. and on Friday 8:45-9:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment, American Fork City Cemetery, 600 North and Center Street, American Fork, UT.
