How do we know that Al Gore did indeed capture the popular vote in the recent presidential election? I was a teenager in 1960 when the Daley machine put Kennedy over the top in votes. With Mr. Daley's son as Mr. Gore's campaign manager (I believe that is correct), anything fraudulent is possible.

And then let's look at the 160,000 ballots in Florida that were punched more than once. That is an indication to me that some kind of Democratic voting machine was in place, perhaps registering people who are senile or illiterate to vote and then expecting them to be able to do so. Is that why the Democrats are only counting certain counties? And if that happened in Florida, it probably happened in other parts of the nation as well.

If I were in the shoes of George W. Bush, I most certainly would be tempted to hold a press conference, tell the people of the United States that they could go take a flying leap, that I liked being the governor of Texas and that when that was over, I would be found on my ranch in Texas. That is how fed up I am of this whole mess. I can only imagine how the Bush family feels about it.

If Al Gore gets in as president, I fear for every environmental issue in this nation. Utah and many other small Western states will be literally shut down. In short, he scares me to death!
