Leona Hammond, age 93, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born December 10, 1907 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of William B. and Hulda Larson Evans. Married Andrew Maxwell Hammond August 10, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was devoted to her family and she left a great legacy of love and admiration from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survived by her children: Lee (Natalie) Evans, New York; Reid (Barbara) Hammond, West Valley; Maxine (Ray) Larsen, Juneau, AK. (Texas El Paso Mission); William (Judy) Hammond, Woods Cross; Shauna (Karl) Christian, Taylorsville; 22 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou (Mike) Joyce, Manteno, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Logan City Cemetery.
