C. Lynn Peterson passed away December 5, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born July 7, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clarence John and Irene Reich Peterson. Married Barbara Diane Bywater on June 25, 1938. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2000.

He attended the University of Utah and the University of Michigan. He and his father started Peterson Filters and Engineering Co. on March 3, 1943.

He was a renowned filtration engineer and inventor. Lifetime member of Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club.

Survived by daughter, Lynda P. Faldmo; grandson, Richard L. (Ronna) Faldmo and their son Stephen and granddaughter, Lara F. (Ron) Katzman and their children Noah and Abrah all of Salt Lake City, UT; and a brother, John Gary (Nancy) Peterson of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Salt Lake City, UT.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2000 at 12 noon at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. & N Street, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.

His soul is fishing on the pond at Elk Creek Ranch.
