Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend went where the skies are not cloudy all day on the morning of December 5, 2000.
Barbara was born in San Francisco, CA on October 22, 1928 to William Jorgensen and Mary Bauman.
She married James Black on September 28, 1962. Her most joyous times were spent playing slots in Wendover and watching Wheel of Fortune with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Black; daughter Lisa; son, Chris (Carrie); two granddaughters Mandy and Laycee; sister Carlene Stuart; brother-in-law Gary (Bonnie) Black; mother-in-law Ruth Black; and many nieces, nephews and very special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Richard and a daughter Linda.
Private graveside services to be held at Bountiful Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Hospital for all their warmth and caring over the last month. She made many new friends there. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the names of her granddaughters to the Ronald McDonald House.
