Again the Skull Valley Band of Goshutes has spoken. We have re-elected a chairman and also elected a new vice chairwoman for four-year terms. The votes were all hand counted. No dimpled chads here.

Recently I read an article saying that if the chairman was unseated, the spent nuclear fuel storage facility would go away. No, not by any means. Even if a new chairman were to take office, the spent fuel storage would stay on the table. Because the majority of the Goshutes want this facility, the chairman has to abide by the will of the tribal members.
