Yesterday I sat down with my 3-year-old son to watch the TV show "Arthur" on PBS. Muffy, the spoiled little rich girl, was running for class president. In spite of her bribing, threatening and bullying her classmates, she lost the election. Her final comment was, "What do I have to do to win this election?"

My initial thought was, "Gee, I've heard that same thought just recently who could it be? Ummm . . . oh, oh yeah. Al Gore!"

For the good of the country, the time has come to cast aside arrogance and personal agenda. It's time to bow out as gracefully as possible and leave whatever ounce of dignity this administration has left in the Oval Office. It's time to stop acting like the spoiled little rich kid!
