The Salt Lake City Parks Division will begin taking park reservations on March 6.
All reservations must be made and paid for in person. No more than three reservations can be made per day, per group. The division is at 500 S. 1965 West. Doors will open at 6 a.m. The public should enter through the west door.Picnic facilities may only be reserved for May through September. The cost for a terrace in most parks is $30. Two terraces in Washington Park in Parleys Canyon will each rent for $40.
Reservations can also be made by phone on March 20 -- possibly sooner. Acceptable forms for payment are cash, check, VISA or Mastercard. Call 972-7860 for more information.
