Increases:
-- Construction of the Legacy Parkway, a four-lane, 12-mile highway from Farmington to North Salt Lake has risen from $260 million to $401 million.-- Reconstruction and widening of 12300 South from 700 East to Redwood Road has been increased from $59 million to $65 million, and an extension from Redwood Road to the Bangerter Highway has been added at a cost of $20 million.
-- Widening of 3500 South, between 2700 West and 8400 West, has been increased from $26 million to $50 million.
-- The controversial construction of the 1100 South overpass in Brigham City has escalated from $10 million to $22 million.
Decreases:
-- A $50 million extension of 2000 East to I-15 has been canceled with $24 million diverted to the 12300 South work and $26 million put into the 11400 South interchange project.
-- Construction of passing lanes on U.S. 6, from Soldier Summit to I-15, has been reduced from $32 million to $17 million. The other $15 million of work still will be completed, but will come from the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, UDOT's regular funding stream.
-- Start-up costs for the reconstruction of five miles from I-80 from State Street to Parleys Canyon have been reduced from $200 million to $45 million.
