Isn't it interesting that Gayle Ruzicka called this year's legislative session "her best in eight years," yet a majority of Utahns polled rate the Legislature's performance as "poor"?
This should tell legislators and extremist groups such as the Eagle Forum that they are out of touch with the community (even a conservative community such as Utah). Phyllis Schlafly, Gayle Ruzicka and the Eagle Forum have consistently spread propaganda and used coercion to spread an infectious cloud of intolerance and hate that is "unchristian" and casts an ugly face upon the great state of Utah.It is time for we as citizens to recognize this and stand up to these extremists and say we have no place for this kind of cancer in our community.
