Doree Ann Lunnen was born on April 13, 1979 in Salt Lake City. She died peacefully on March 12, 2000 after a long, painful, but always courageous bout with Rabdo Myosarcoma (cancer).

She had two sets of loving parents, April Melody Merrill and Byron Tahbo, and Robert and Nancy Lunnen. She also had two step-fathers, Dave Severson, and Steve Feld who were always a part of her life. She had four brothers, and nine sisters, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, plus more friends than could be counted. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Lisa; and her brother, Randy. Her special love and soulmate Paul Snow was by her side and took care of her throughout her illness.

Doree graduated from Hillcrest High School and worked as a nail tech and student with her sister, Angie.

Doree's mission on this earth was short but very meaningful. She taught all of us lucky enough to know her:

-how to be compassionate to the less fortunate

-how to turn a bad situation into a better one

-how to love someone who is less than lovable

-how to work willingly at unpleasant tasks

-how to suffer unspeakable pain with strength and dignity.
