Skiers Stein Eriksen, Billy Kidd, Phil and Steve Mahre and Franz Klammer, all Olympic medalists, and a few more, will revive their racing styles Thursday during the Fidelity Powerstreet Legends Cup at Deer Valley.
Eriksen won in 1952, Klammer in 1976 and the Mahres in 1984.The legends will be matched head-to-head on the race course south of the Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley. Start time is 2 p.m. The public is invited to watch free of charge.
Others in the bracket will be Bill Johnson, gold medalist in 1984, Leonard Stock, gold medalist in 1980, and Steve Podborski, bronze medalist in 1980.
