Born July 16th, 1941, in Helper, Utah to Walter Joseph and Rhoda Mary Bishop Abbott. Married his soulmate, Arlene Jorgensen on July 23,1963.
Survived by children: Rhoda Mary Abbott, Ronald Dean Abbott, Cheryl Black Abbott, Deborah Jean Abbott Cottrell (John W. Cottrell) and Leo Joseph Abbott, grandchildren: John Dean, Raymond Wesley, Arron Jay Cottrell, Damon Nathanael Abbott, David Shane Coon, Lilly Anne Russell, Carrie Ann Wells, Anna May Parkin, Kennith Derrel Muir and nine great grandchildren.
