Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was the proud father of three children, Jerry Turner of Tucson, AZ (Shirly); David Turner of Austin, TX (LaVon); and Donna Clark of South Jordan, UT (Dee); and had 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Olive Turner, and his sisters, Cleo Williams and Fern Pugh.
Dad ran a small farm in Hunter, raising grain, hay, and chickens. He worked at the Baur Mine and Tooele Smelter, and retired from Kennecott Copper in 1976 after 30 years. He slowed down a bit in his final years, but in his more active years. Mom and Dad traveled extensively with "The Gang".
