Obituary: Lynda Sue Bizzell

KAYSVILLE -

Lynda Sue Bizzell, age 55, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away at her home in Kaysville on March 22, 2000, after 18 months of a valiant struggle with cancer.She was born March 14, 1945 in Heber City, Utah, to Hubert L. and LeOra Jacobson Bizzell. She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor Degree in Education.

Lynda was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions in the church. Lynda's love of travel took her to many parts of the world, such as, Europe, Great Britain, and Hawaii. One of her favorite places was Austria because of her love of "The Sound of Music". She was a treasure and an inspiration not only to her family but to hundreds of lives she touched.

Lynda taught school at Burton Elementary for 32 years. Her life was spent loving and inspiring her many students, whom she cherished as her family.

Lynda is survived by her parents, Hubert and LeOra Bizzell of Kaysville; one brother, Bob Bizzell and his wife, Bernie. Also survived by three nieces, Melissa (Sheldon) Ortiz, Heather (Perry) Ward, and Holly (David) Herring; and nine grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2000 at Kaysville LDS Rock Chapel, 200 East Center. Friends and family may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, and on Saturday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
