A two-alarm fire ravaged a Salt Lake recycling business early Thursday, with one employee narrowly escaping.

Salt Lake Fire Capt. Devin Villa said the fire at Pulsar Energy was reported at 3:57 a.m., and crews arrived to find the building at 977 S. 700 West fully engulfed. The business recycles antifreeze in a process that involves pressurized containers. One of those containers started to leak, began spraying the liquid and ignited a fire, Villa said.

One employee working in the business saw the fire and escaped from the building, notifying authorities.
