NEPHI --Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend Leonard H. Robinson passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer Mar. 28, 2000 in Nephi, Utah.

He was born December 20, 1931 in Santaquin, Utah to David Delbert and Irene Rees Robinson. He married Ann Denece Burns November 2, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple July 26, 1991. Leonard was educated in Salt Lake City and the Uintah Basin. He served his country honorably in the United States Army stationed TDY with the Air Force in Germany. When his sons were growing up he served as president of the Kearns National WBBA and was instrumental in starting the first Little League Football Teams in Kearns. He was an avid golfer, member of the UGA and the IGCSA, Canyon Hills Men's Golf Association, Juab High School Boosters Club, the American Legion Post #1 Nephi, Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in several organizations currently as the 2nd assistant in the High Priest Group Leadership of the Nephi 7th Ward. He served faithfully with his wife as an ordinance worker in the Manti Temple.He worked several years as a sheet metal journeyman, Plant manager of Utah Foam Products, Green superintendent at Canyon Hills Golf Course for 11 years.

He is survived by his wife of Nephi; two sons and four daughters, Nyle (Julie), Duane (Debbie), Candy (James) Eyre, Lori (Rick) Gadd, Janalynn Herring all of Nephi; Denise (Arlin) Barney of Provo; daughter-in-law, Michelle Fowkes of Nephi; 21 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Verna) Robinson of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Ione (Marvin) Tippetts and Mrs. Klea (Lee) Beatty of Hurricane. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Delbert Robinson; two sisters, Clula Einerson and Cloe Limb; two sons, Jeffrey Kay and Todd Glen Robinson.

Leonard always said his greatest asset was his family.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Sat, April 1, 2000 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Friends may call Fri. evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North , and at the stake center one hour prior to services. The burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah.
