The annual event has become a highlight of the winter season as women of different faiths work together to make quilts for the homeless, said some of the more than 200 volunteers who participated in the program. After participating in the event, Helen Delaney, a member of the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community, said: "This quilting bee is an inspiration. So many women from different faiths share their talents, all for a common purpose -- to help those in need. As we sew alongside one another, we learn from each other."
