Our wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 10, 2000, after an extended illness.

She was born October 23, 1913 in Riverton, Utah to Christian Richard Lovendahl and Emma Jane Dansie Lovendahl. On June 20, 1939, she married Mardon John Parker, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 17, 1960. Years after Mardon's death, she married Gerald A. Averett on August 15, 1977.In her youth, she was raised on the family farm in Riverton, where she herded cows and enjoyed riding horses. She worked at Cottonwood Hospital in Central Supply for 14 years before retiring.

Some of her greatest joys were spending time with family and friends, crocheting afghans, baking cakes and doing puzzles with her great-grandchildren.

Survived by her daughter, Sandra Lundquist (Bill) of Draper; stepson, Ronald D. Averett (Ruth) of West Jordan; grandchildren, Charlene C. Trolson (Kent) of West Jordan; Shaun Lundquist (J'Anne) of Draper; and Brett Lundquist (Wendy) of Rush Valley; great-grandchildren, Travis, Heidi and Jessica; sisters, Verbena Nielsen and Bernice Spencer; brother, Wesley. "Over the years you have taken on many names, a few of which are: Mom, Gram, Grandma Parker, Grandma Freddie and Grandma Elda. To all these names you have added love, laughter, grace and wisdom beyond compare. No matter the name by which you are referred, the admiration and love given is the same. You will remain in our hearts and memories for eternity."

Love always and forever,

Your Family
