Dedication of the Palmyra New York Temple on April 6, 2000, was a time of historical and sacred significance. Situated atop a hill overlooking the Smith farmland and Sacred Grove, it is built on land that was part of the original homestead.

As a young man, Joseph Smith would have hauled rocks to help create the wall that stands on the temple grounds. This portion of the wall was moved during construction. A tri-stake youth activity restored the wall. Please see article on page 3.PHOTO BY RAVELL CALL
