Bernice and VerNon A. BinghamVerNon A. Bingham, 76, Aspen Ward, Mesa Arizona East Kimball Stake, called as president of the new Cochabamba Bolivia Temple, which will be dedicated April 30. President Bingham's wife, Bernice Powell Bingham, will serve as temple matron. President Bingham served as president of the Honduras Mission, the Argentina Missionary Training Center, as high councilor, bishop, ward mission leader, and Explorer Scout trainer for the Lake Bonneville Council of the Boy Scouts of America. A retired school teacher, he received a bachelor's degree from the College of Idaho and a master's degree from Utah State University. He was born in Trenton, Utah, to Jeddie Arch and Gladys Irenen Lott Bingham.
Sister Bingham is a former ward and stake Primary president, ward Relief Society president, and stake Relief Society board member. She attended Utah State University. She was born in Rockport, Idaho, to Wilbur M and Lucile Gibbons Powell.
Kathleen and Richard M. Ericson
Richard M. Ericson, 67, Anderson Ward, Anderson California Stake, called as president of the new Medford Oregon Temple, which will be dedicated April 16. President Ericson's wife, Kathleen McKinney, will serve as temple matron. President Ericson served as stake president and counselor, bishop, high councilor, high priests group leader, and he and his wife served a full-time mission in Australia. He is a retired information systems project manager for Simpson Paper Co. He was born in Isanti, Minn., to Elvie Phillip and Doris Frances Miller Erickson.
Sister Ericson is a former Young Women president, counselor in stake and ward Primary presidencies, and Relief Society and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Bakersfield, Calif., to Clifton Zene and Vennie Thelma Shields McKinney.
W. Boyd and Dorothy Lee
W. Boyd Lee, 68, Germantown Ward, Memphis Tennessee Stake, called as president of the new Memphis Tennessee Temple, which will be dedicated April 23. President Lee's wife, Dorothy Kenison Lee, will serve as temple matron. President Lee served as stake president and clerk, mission president's counselor, high councilor and bishop. He was involved in a community action group for community values. Retired from U.S. Public Health Service and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, he received a bachelor's degree from BYU, a D.D.S. from Baylor Dental College and a master's degree from Georgetown University. He was born in Winslow, Ariz., to Ralph and Zella Slade Lee.
Sister Lee is a former stake Primary president, ward Relief Society president, ward music chairman, and stake and ward Young Women president's counselor. She was the 1995 Tennessee Mother of the Year. She graduated from BYU. She was born in Flandreau, S.D., to Irving and Esther Kenison.
