Our big hearted husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and brother, passed away peacefully at the age of 69 after a hard fought battle with COPD.

Born February 25, 1931 in Granger, Utah to Milton J. and Della D. Warr Orr.Married Rose Marie Memmott May 1, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lifelong resident of Granger. Attended Cyprus High School and the University of Utah, where he graduated in 1956 with a BS Degree in Accounting. He served in the US Army with the 4th Infantry Division in Frankfurt, Germany from 1952 to 1954. He was associated with his family in the operation of Delton Bowling Lanes for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; stepdaughters, Lynda (Blair) Jeffs, Susan (Gary) Romano, Terry (Gary) Haywood, Cindy (Wayne) Hoppal, Toynet (Jon) Sharp; stepson, Mike (Cyrina) Memmott; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Brent (Marilyn) Orr, Dean Orr, Dick (Janet) Orr; sisters, Shirley Adamson, Susan (Ron) Thorne; many nieces and nephews that had a special place in his heart. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Scott and Gary Orr.

Max had a huge heart and loved sharing his kindness with others. He loved traveling, especially to the ocean.

Loved watching his grandchildren play ball. Max had a message for all children ~ "Don't smoke!"

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2000, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 11-11:45 a.m.

Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
