Streak: Won 1

Last 10: 6-4

For the Jazz . . . This is the final game of the regular season for the Midwest Division-champion Jazz, who clinched their title by winning at Phoenix on Sunday night. . . . Karl Malone needs one assist for 4,000 in his career -- which would make him just the fourth player in NBA history to score 20,000-plus points, pull down 10,000-plus rebounds and dish 2,000 or more assists. . . . If Jeff Hornacek (his knee) is rested, Howard Eisley will start in his place. . . . Utah leads the all-time series 70-49.

For the Nuggets . . . Denver has been idle since a 115-114 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday in which Nick Van Exel scored a career-high 44 points and Antonio McDyess had a career-high 21 boards. The is the final home games of the season for the Nuggets, who close at Portland on Wednesday. . . . Denver is 37-21 and has won two straight at home vs. Utah.
