Samson Cashdan died April 18, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born in Liverpool, England in 1911, studied classics and law at Oxford University, and worked in London as a lawyer until he moved with his wife, Dobbie and baby daughter, Elizabeth to Los Angeles. Sam worked in the savings and loan industry in Los Angeles with S. Mark Taper, staying with the firm until his retirement. He moved from Los Angeles to Salt Lake to be with his daughter after the death of his wife, Dobbie in 1993. Until the end, even Alzheimer's disease could not destroy his charm and loving nature. The family thanks Emily Morales and her family for the extraordinary kindness and care they have show Sam since his move to Salt Lake City.Graveside funeral services will be 12 noon, Wednesday at B'nai Israel Cemetery, 4th Ave and R.
