We have been studying about rain forests and other Earth land forms. We have learned that our forests are being destroyed by farmers and businesses. The land and air is being polluted by all people. We think everyone should unite and start caring about Earth.

We believe all of us can make a difference and do our part in saving the Earth. We can save water by not letting it run when doing dishes, brushing our teeth or washing our hands. We can turn the TV off when we are not watching it, or better yet, we can read more and watch TV less. We can use cloth towels and grocery bags and reuse plastic bags and tin foil. By recycling paper, cans, glass and other materials, we can save natural resources.Sandy residents only have to remember to put recyclables in their recycle garbage cans each week. How easy. By not littering and polluting, we can prevent harm to natural wildlife and resort areas. Just remembering to clean up after ourselves would help a lot. And remember, walking or riding a bike is healthy and saves energy.

If we want our country and world to be a cleaner, safer, more beautiful place, we all need to get involved and do these things. After all, our world is the only one we have. Now is the time to begin. It's "toad-ily" our responsibility.
