The choir, under the direction of Gregory Glenn, will perform works of G.P. da Palestrina, Peter Phillips and Thomas Tallis, free.USU GUITAR ENSEMBLE, Monday, April 24, 7:30 p.m., Harrison Auditorium, Eccles Conference Center, Logan. Works on the Electric Guitar program include the fusion work "The Search," by Fred Hamilton, a swing interpretation of "Isn't it Romantic" and "Slop," a funky, quasi-rock-and-roll piece. The USU Acoustic Guitar Ensemble will perform a medley of three Russian pieces that are folk-based. The group will also do a classical work, "The Trio in D" by Robert Mayeur. USU WIND ORCHESTRA SPRING CONCERT, Tuesday, April 25, 7:30 p.m., Chase Fine Arts Center Morgan Theater, USU campus, Logan. The orchestra will present its Spring Concert with guest appearances by the USU Trombone Ensemble, guest conductor/composer Brant Karrick and the world premiere of faculty member Dennis Griffin's three-movement work for band, "Pioneer Suite." WSU PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, Tuesday, April 25, 7:30 p.m., Allred Theater, Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts, WSU, Ogden. Under the direction of Ryun Louie, the ensemble will perform a variety of musical styles on several different percussion instruments. ENOCH TRAIN AND THE UTAH VALLEY SYMPHONY, Wednesday and Thursday, April 26-27, 7:30 p.m., Provo Tabernacle. Local folk music group Enoch Train will make a feature appearance at the Utah Valley Symphony's "Pop" concert. Conductor Bruce Rytting will open the concert with Aaron Copland's "Rodeo," then Enoch Train will take the stage to perform all the cuts on its CD.
