Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Our beloved Janet passed gently from this life on April 19, 2000 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.Janet was born August 23, 1942 in Park City, Utah to Byron D. and Margaret Adamson Jones.
She grew up in Park City and Salt Lake City and attended South High School where she participated in her always effervescent manner in band and dance.
Janet married and had two children who were always the highest joy of her life.
She was employed by Kennecott Copper Corp. and then Hercules Aerospace Company until her retirement in 1999. Janet is fondly remembered for her many years of service and enjoyment as Race Director and then President of the SLC Track Club.
She is survived by her mother Margaret Adamson Jones, Salt Lake; brother Wade C. Jones, Salt Lake: sister Kathy Jones-Price, Park City; daughter Cheri Greensides Webster, Mackay, ID; son Michael D. Greensides, West Valley City; and four grandchildren.
Private services and interment in Mackay, ID.
