- Julie Anna Wirthlin, 18, died April 20, 2000 in Wm. Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI, of Hodgkins Lymphoma.Born December 3, 1981 in Pontiac, MI to Dr. LeRoy S. and Mary L. Wirthlin, formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah. Julie was a senior at Andover High School and was planning to attend college in the fall. She was a member of the student government, National Honor Society, cross country team, track team, and Spanish Club. She enjoyed photography, kite flying, art, writing, and music. Active member of her church youth group and recipient of the Young Womanhood Recognition Award.

"Julie's bright smile and shining eyes never failed to warm the hearts of those around her." -- Julie's fight against cancer will continue from her involvement in the creation of the West Bloomfield Relay for Life, the second of which is planned to take place June 17-18, 2000 at 12 noon. Huntsman (Paul), Mary E. Williams (Mark), Alison G. Fredenberg (Paul), Suzanne L. Paylor (Scott). Rebecca J., Cathleen M., Christina Z.; 13 nieces; and 13 nephews.
