EPHRAIM, Utah -- Lloyd L. Scow, 89, of Ephraim, Utah, passed away April 23, 2000, at his home in Ephraim.
He was born April 8, 1911, in Mayfield, Utah, to Conrad and Linda Hendrickson Scow. He married Doris Barlow, April 17, 1937. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death April 19, 1965. He married Irene Kublank Stein, April 19, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The mar-riage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, October 4, 1975.Lloyd had a keen sense of humor and loved his children, grandchildren, friends and co-workers. He was a hard worker, enjoyed gardening and yard work. Lloyd was a farmer and owned the Mayfield Grocery.
He is survived by wife, Irene of Ephraim; children, Faye Hurst (Orland), Kearns; Connie (Jim) Quick, Columbia Falls, MT; Marvin (Beverly) Scow, Rupert, ID; Darlene Brotherson, Ogden; Butch Scow, Salt Lake City; Julene (Richard) Shelley, Washington; Lynn (Melisa) Scow, American Fork; Janice Dotson, Manti; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grand-children; sister, Reva Reid, Emery County. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Doris; brothers: Arvon Scow, Ernest Scow, Ivan Scow, Moyle Steck; sisters: Rhoda Duval and Dorthy Sorensen; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and a son-in-law.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2000, at 12 Noon in the Ephraim LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at the Stake Center in Ephraim on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Centerfield Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby-Jensen Mortuary, Salina and Gunnison.
