Price - Dennis Albert Huff, age 72, died April 22, 2000 at his home after a lengthy battle with health problems.
Born March 21, 1928 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Edwin Manson and Mary Allred Huff. He was raised in Castle Gate, Utah. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1945, honorably served his country for five years and was one of five brothers to serve in the armed forces.Married Cellia Fossat, March 27, 1970 in Carlin, Nevada and they spent many happy years at their place in Joe's Valley. Member Price Elk's Lodge # 1550. He was an expert at tying flies and everyone enjoyed his beautiful counted cross stitch work. Dennis loved visiting with his family, grandchildren, great-grand-children, and his nieces and nephews. He loved fishing, telling stories and will always be remembered for his unwavering courage against insurmountable odds.
Dennis will be dearly missed by his family and a community of friends.
Survived by: wife, Cellia Huff, Price; four brothers, one sister and their spouses: Darwin and Mary Huff, Portland, OR; Vernon and Arlene Huff, Wellington; Norman and Colleen Huff, Huntington; LaVell and Annette Huff, Quartsite, AZ; Arline and Jim Anderson, Wellington; step-children and spouses: Darlene and Karl Lowe, Salt Lake City; Ellene and Dan verde, Price; Ralph and Sandra Fossat, Helper; and his eight loving grandchildren, 16 great grand-children and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Orlando and Paul.
Memorial graveside service, Wednesday, April 26, 2000, 11 a.m. Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
