Charley Allen Brumley, 87, our loving father and grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father on April 23, 2000 to prepare the way for the rest of his family.
He was born December 12, 1912 in Kanab, Utah to Benjamin and Christena McNew Brumley. Charley married Bertha Irene Butcher in Walla Walla, Washington in 1935. They were later divorced and she preceded him in death. Charley loved horses and performed in rodeos with trick horses. He was one of the last to travel by covered wagonSurvivors: son, Clarence (Barbara); daughter, Donna Powers; grandchildren, Donna Ornelas, Tina Prunty, Melody Armijo, Shane Ornelas, Donald Evans, Doug Evans, Barbara Evans, Darrel Evans, Kevin Coggins, Tracy Brumley, Kimberli Richards; 19 great-grand-children; two great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Doris Coggins; parents; six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2000 in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
