PAYSON-

Mary Lou Bruun "B" Broadbent, 79, died April 24, 2000, in Payson.She was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Toquerville, Utah, to Peter Andress and Alice Ann Batty Bruun.

She married Charles LeRoy Broadbent on August 14, 1967, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as Worldwide General Secretary for the Primary, as president of the Y.W.M.I.A. in the Payson Stake, as Relief Society president of the Park Ward in Payson., and served a mission with her husband in the Florida Mission in 1982-1983.

She served for seven years as a Temple Worker in the Provo LDS Temple, and was a former secretary to President Barnes of the New Zealand Mission. After her mission she worked for Brockbank Realty in Salt Lake City.

She was a former President of the Payson "Cultus Club". She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Ross LeRoy Broadbent, Salt Lake City; David Broadbent, Salt Lake City; Mary Ann Brady, Salt Lake City; Richard Broadbent, Provo; 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She always thought of others first; had a loving compassionate spirit and cheerful disposition, and a radiant smile.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Payson 17th& 18th Ward Chapel, 482 W. 1400 S. off

State Road 198, east side of Highway 6., where friends may call from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
