Brian "Dutch" Roberts, age 77, passed away April 26, 2000.He was born Jan. 6, 1923 in Stockport England to Walter and Florence Osborn Roberts. He married his sweetheart for life, Donna Gordon, on December 20, 1945. He was merchant marine in World War II and a member of the LDS Church.
Dutch was the "walking man's friend," co-owner of Progressive Motors for over 40 years. Al-ways a gentleman and a good friend to all. He was the most respected car man in the world. He is now out of pain and the "#1 salesman in that big car lot in the Sky."
He is survived by Donna; their two sons: Brian (Cherrie) of Salt Lake and Ryan (Linda) of Park City; two brothers: Dean of Las Vegas and Lee of Los Angeles; and a bunch of really great grandkids and great-grandkids. Preceded in death by his father, mother, oldest brother and sister.
We will all miss your great sense of humor and all those helpful hints. When the going got tough, we all knew we could count on you.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at 1 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Dr. Family and friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 11:45-12:45 p.m., prior to services.
