HANDS OF STONE, PART 5: Panamanian boxer Roberto "Hands of Stone" Duran Saturday announced his return to the ring in a June bout that will extend his 117-fight career into a record fifth decade.
Duran, 48, began his professional career as a lightweight in 1967 and went on to win four world championship belts in the 1970s and 1980s, notching 79 wins by knockout.
The June 3 bout against American middleweight Pat Lawlor will make Duran the first professional boxer to have fought over five decades, and in two millennia.
