A sea of people enjoyed participating in the 170th Annual General Conference, attending in the new Conference Center or in overflow facilities in the Tabernacle or Assembly Hall on Temple Square. Members from a broad variety of backgrounds and countries attended. Most out of town visitors had an opportunity to be inside the new Conference Center. The increase in the conference crowd at headquarters -- especially the acres of faces in the Conference Center -- symbolized an unseen magnitude of general conference. Most of the millions who participated, however, attended at their local stake centers. As always, the messages of conference were more important than the location where conference was seen and heard.
