Richard Charles Merrill, 69, died suddenly of a lung infection April 5, 2000.

Born July 30, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Charles Smith Merrill and Mary Gibbs Merrill. A husband, father and grandfather; he is survived by his wife: Donna A. Merrill; three sons: Mike T. Merrill, Tim R. Merrill and Stewart L. Merrill; eight and a half grandchildren; and two sisters: Mary Lou Lindquist, Kristen Merrill.He followed in his father's footsteps and owned and managed Lake Hills Memorial Park business for many years. Loved to play golf, travel in the fifth wheel trailer to see the USA and enjoyed seeing the historic sights of our country. His family and friends will miss him and he is in our hearts forever.

Services will be held on Mon., April 10, 2000 at 2 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where family and friends may call on Sun. 5-7 p.m. and Mon. from 12:45-1:45 p.m., prior to services. Entombment, Wasatch Lawn Mausoleum.
