PROVO -- A well-disguised man wielding a knife robbed a Provo motel early Sunday morning.
Provo Police Capt. Keith Teuscher said the man entered the Super 8 Motel, 1288 S. University Ave., about 2:30 a.m. and pulled a knife on the night clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk, the robber fled on foot.The clerk told police the robber had his face painted with a thick coating of white paint and was wearing sunglasses, a knit cap, knit gloves and a green Army fatigue jacket. However, the man did not have all of his skin covered, and the clerk told investigators that he believed the man was black.
Police currently have no suspects in the case.
