Houston 5, Brewers 0MILWAUKEE -- Octavio Dotel combined with three relievers on a two-hitter, and Mitch Meluskey went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBIs to lead the Houston Astros over the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0 Monday night.

Dotel allowed a one-out single to Tyler Houston in the fifth and left after the inning because of a sore left hip.

ROCKIES 15, EXPOS 8: At Denver, Todd Helton became the sixth player in Colorado history to hit three homers in a game, going 4-for-5 with five RBIs.

Larry Walker and Jeffrey Hammonds also connected for the Rockies, and the teams tied a Coors Field record with 10 homers.

MARLINS 5, PADRES 2: At San Diego, Preston Wilson hit a two-run homer and an RBI double, and Ryan Dempster (2-2) doubled and scored to stop Florida's five-game losing streak. Wilson's homer was the 10th given up by right-hander Woody Williams (3-2), tying him with Houston's Jose Lima for the most allowed in the majors. San Diego has lost six of seven.

BRAVES 2, DODGERS 1: At Los Angeles, Kevin Millwood (3-0) scattered five hits over seven innings, and light-hitting Quilvio Veras homered as Atlanta won its franchise-record 14th straight.

GIANTS 10, METS 3: At San Francisco, Barry Bonds hit a ball into San Francisco Bay for the first splashdown homer at Pacific Bell Park.
