HEBER CITY, UT -- Wayne W. Williams, age 63, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2000 in Heber City, Utah.
Born December 23, 1936 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Steel and Deane Farnsworth Williams. During Wayne's life he worked for and retired from the Newspaper Agency Corp. (NAC) in Salt Lake City. He also worked as an independent truck driver, and a pilot car driver. He was a member of the LDS Church, and had a strong love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Wayne enjoyed many interests. He loved the outdoors, Harley Davidsons, Bar-B-Ques, and Rodeos. But, most of all he loved his family. His grandchildren were very important to him.Wayne is survived by his loving companion, Patricia of Heber City, UT; seven children, Walter (Sheryl) Williams of Colorado; Terry (Shelly) Williams of Salt Lake City, UT; Brenda (Max) Hunt of Wellington, UT; Vicki (Leon) Anderson of Nebraska; Anita Critchlow, Tina Blackwell, and Julie Critchlow, all of Salt Lake City, UT; mother, Deane Farnsworth Riley of Tooele, UT; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; sister, Jodene Katoya of Tooele, UT; two brothers, Myrn (Ethel) Riley of Bountiful, UT; Mike (Barbara) Riley of Washington; two sisters, Gayle Musker of Salt Lake City, UT; and Kathie Gummuscic of San Jose, CA.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2000, 12 Noon in the Daniel LDS Ward Chapel, 715 East 600 South, Heber City, Utah. Friends may call from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the services in the LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the Midway City Cemetery, Midway, Utah with military honors by the United States Marine Corp.
