RICHMOND, Utah -- Barbara Ann Barbur Talbot, 63, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great- aunt, and friend, passed away Monday, May 1, 2000, at her home in Richmond from colon cancer. She also suffered from MS and other afflictions.She was born Jan. 12, 1936, the daughter of John and Genevieve Barbur of Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn D. Talbot, of Richmond; two sons, two stepsons, and one stepdaughter, Lenard McCain, Arizona; Stan Kuratti, Oregon; Michael (Sharon) Talbot, East Layton, Utah; Dennis (Kris) Talbot, West Point, Utah; Theresa (Dave) Moody, Las Vegas, Nevada; five granddaughters, five grandsons; by her mother, Genevieve Barbur, Portland, Oregon; by two brothers and two sisters, Pauline Gentry, Portland, Oregon; John Barbur, Gresham, Oregon; Jeanne (Tom) Turcol, Gresham, Oregon; Joe Barbur, Las Vegas, Nevada; and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her 10 month old son, Paul Andrew McCain, and by her father, John D. Barbur.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2000, in the Richmond Stake Center, 135 W. Main, with Bishop Larry Larson conducting. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Richmond Stake Center and Friday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., also at the stake center. Burial will be in the Lewiston, Utah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home, Preston, Idaho.
